Meet Our Leadership Team

Bill is our President and CEO, bringing over 30 years of experience in leading complex global organizations and driving business transformation. He joined EXSIF after holding senior leadership roles in multiple industrial and B2B companies, where he successfully executed turnaround strategies and delivered financial growth.

Before joining EXSIF, Bill held key executive positions at leading companies, overseeing strategic planning, acquisition integration, and operational excellence. He is known for his ability to build high-performing teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is based in Chicago and is passionate about developing people and implementing customer-focused solutions that achieve sustained business success.

Lee’s expertise is developing effective and scalable financial organizations, interacting with investors, liquidity management, and process improvement. Lee joins the EXSIF team in 2023 and was most recently the CFO at Garrington Capital, a private equity backed asset-based lender, where he was responsible for all U.S. finance and accounting operations. Prior to Garrington, Lee was CFO at INXPO, Inc., an enterprise webcast platform company, where he led the FP&A, accounting, and treasury teams.

Lee holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and earned Masters and Bachelor degrees in accounting from the University of Illinois.

Clive is responsible for overseeing the commercial strategy and market development of EXSIF, and is currently based in New York. Clive joined in 2011 as Area Vice President, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for leading business growth across a diverse region stretching between the Middle East to Japan to Australasia. Clive has over 25 years’ experience in the equipment leasing sector.

Prior to joining EXSIF, Clive held several senior positions in the industry as Managing Director at Axis Intermodal, CEO of Goldman/Cerberus owned TTL Ltd, and VP at Dry Containers for Transamerica Leasing. He is a qualified ship broker and a current member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

Warwick is our Managing Director of Europe as well as Middle East, based in York, U.K.. He is responsible for managing all customer and field operations for both geographies. Warwick began his career with EXSIF based in Houston where he oversaw operational and technical activities and focused on depot development in North and South America. He returned to Europe and assumed responsibility for new build quality, spending most of his time in China working closely with EXSIF’s tank container manufacturing partners.

Warwick joined EXSIF after graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy specialization, and he holds an EMBA from Leeds Business School.

Angela is an experienced professional with an extensive background in the equipment leasing sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of North and South America, she holds a pivotal role in managing customer and field operations across these regions. In her capacity, Angela is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business, including customer relations, operational efficiency, and strategic planning.

Before assuming her current position, Angela worked as the SVP of Marketing at EXSIF, a role that involved developing the company’s marketing and communication strategies, as well as spearheading customer experience initiatives. Her contributions to EXSIF helped enhance the brand’s visibility and strengthen its relationships with customers. Prior to joining EXSIF in 2020, Angela held several senior global positions at the Pitney Bowes Corporation, where she was responsible for managing products and lease portfolios.

With over 28 years experience in the equipment leasing sector, Angela brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership to her role. Angela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Pace University and an MBA in Marketing and Management from Boston College, both of which have equipped her with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in her field. Her diverse background in sales, marketing, operations and product management make her a valuable asset to the organization, driving growth and success in North and South America.

Michael is our Vice President of Engineering and is responsible for the technical aspects of the business — from design of the equipment, to procurement, repair, and disposal. Michael joined EXSIF in 1991 working in the London office for several years before relocating to the U.S. He is currently based in New York. Michael began his career with the Pacific Steam Navigation Company as a Marine Engineer.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Engineering Honors degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology before joining the U.K. Space industry, which culminated in him being a key member of the launch team of the INMARSAT satellite, which was launched from Cape Canaveral on the Delta II rocket.

Bridget is our Vice President of Information Technology based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, she leads our talented IT team, designing, developing and implementing the technology strategy for EXSIF that further differentiates our products and services in the market.

Bridget Quinlan has 25 years of technology experience in architecture, analytics, strategy, project management, infrastructure and cybersecurity across industries that include telecom, manufacturing and logistics.

Kirstin is our Director of Human Resources and is responsible for enhancing the culture at EXSIF, facilitating employee development, and managing compensation. Kirstin joined EXSIF in April of 2022. Previously, she was a Human Resources manager at a publicly traded metals producer.

Kirstin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University.

GS (Guisuo) is our General Manager of EXSIF China based in Shanghai. GS joined EXSIF in 1996 and was instrumental in building the team to establish the tank container business in China. He continues to grow the business and manage our operations for China and South Korea. GS has over 27 years’ experience in the container industry.

Prior to joining EXSIF, GS held a number of positions in the tank container industry. He was a Production Manager of a container factory in North China (TNOC), Technical Manager of Trans Ocean Leasing, and Technical Manager of Transamerica Leasing. GS has a bachelor’s degree from Inner Mongolia Industry and Master of Business Administration from Fudan University.

Bernie is our Managing Director of Southeast Asia (including Japan and Oceania) and is based in Singapore.  He joined EXSIF in March 2024 with wide-ranging experience in shipping after spending 17 years in the container shipping industry with CMA CGM and APL in various roles including corporate planning and strategy, country management, pricing and contracting, and trade management.  Before that, he spent several years in the finance and accounting industry with United Overseas Bank and Ernst & Young.

Bernie holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School (UK) and MA in Economics and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh (UK).

David is our Vice President of Business Intelligence based in New York. He joined the EXSIF team in 2004 and has progressed through a range of management roles before assuming his current responsibilities leading pricing and optimizing EXSIF’s market positioning. David has a background in financial analysis, information technology and process improvements projects in a range of businesses.

David holds a Baccalaureate degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
